“The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport is built for people seeking a piece of self-defined freedom,” says Porsche AG.

Sounds good to me.

What the specs say is it’s a mid-engine turn key club race or track day Porsche featuring 425 hp in a 2910 lb chassis. Included is a welded-in safety cage, bucket seat, six-point harness, six-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and mechanical rear differential lock. That sounds really good.

The front suspension is derived from the 911 GT3 Cup, while the brake discs are steel 380mm in diameter. Plus it’s the first ever production race car to use bodywork made of natural-fibre composite material like flax and hemp fibres. Light ‘em up!
