WHY NO AIRPLAY FOR AIMEE’S FIRST RECORD?

Whatever was the first solo record from Aimee Mann. It was released over 25 years ago this month to little fanfare, although it is arguably one of 1993’s best albums.

Sometimes executive producers get involved (I’ve been known to charge double when art directed by them). Fortunately, Aimee Mann’s hard core fans have stayed with her, and her talent was rewarded in 2002 with Lost in Space. That one reached 35 on the US Billboard 200.
