PORSCHE WINS LE MANS
Today, Porsche claimed its 17th overall Le Mans victory. The team’s 919 Hybrid #19 won the world’s greatest endurance race with Nico Hulkenberg, Nick Tandy, and Earl Bamber driving.
Porsche Team’s 919 #17, which was on pole with Mark Weber, finished second. Audi had to settle for 3rd after dominating this French event for years. Continue reading “”

A grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, Ferdinand Piech became chairman and CEO of Volkswagen in 1993. He turned the company around and added top marques like Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti. PORSCHE CAYMAN GT4 ANNOUNCED
The GT4 is the most anticipated Porsche sports car in many years. It is powered by the 991-derived 385 hp 3.8-liter flat six in a mid-engine position and mated to only one transmission option: a manual. Serious stuff. It lapped the Nürburgring as fast as a 997 GT3 model.
This Cayman will screams to 7,400 rpm and do 0-62 in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 183 MPH. Its debut is slated for Geneva, and it’s set to arrive at dealers this July starting at $84,600.
