When, for whatever reason, I cannot, then the piece I may have already spent a week on remains unpublished. That&#8217;s just the way it is. There is no alternative reality allowable in my profession. Not if one wants to keep their integrity intact. <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Fact is a piece of information presented as having objective reality.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d &#8211; Merriam-Webster Dictionary<\/p>\n<p>The same should hold true for my editorial photographs. Although the use of Photoshop is now rampant in magazine feature photography, I will continue to resist altering reality to where the image becomes another one entirely. No &#8220;fake news&#8221; or &#8220;alternative facts&#8221; for me. <\/p>\n<p>For commercial work, all bets are off.
