Doing most of the work himself, he somehow managed to complete this transformation from 912 roller in less than six months and for less than $25K. Unbelievable.<br \/>\n<!--more-->   <\/p>\n<p>This is my latest and last <em>Excellence<\/em> story published with Pete Stout as editor of the magazine (#206). The new editor at the magazine, Greg Brown, will undoubtedly become another great alliance of mine. And Pete, in his new role at PCA&#8217;s <em>Panorama<\/em>, will continue to be a valued client. But I can&#8217;t help but look back on my formative years as an automotive photojournalist and equally admire and celebrate Pete&#8217;s influence on me.
