This Texan maverick has been known for building some of the best hot rod 911s east of California since 1978.  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In today&#8217;s social media, image is everything. Yet long ago there were the first of the early 911 hot rod innovators who didn&#8217;t care what people thought of them. Modest Mayo will reluctantly tell you he just happens to be among that gruppe. But, of course, there&#8217;s more to it than that.
