Like him or not, it&#8217;s been hard to ignore Magnus Walker, whose media attention has shone a light on air-cooled Porsches. And that&#8217;s contributed to their rise in value over the past five years &#8211; for good or for bad. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>My photo was made a few days before his &#8220;Urban Outlaw&#8221; film was released in 2012. Magnus&#8217;s wife Karen was in L.A., and they graciously took me to lunch at a nearby restaurant. It was there that his recently departed partner in life revealed a side to the man that went far beyond appearances.
