MPG AWARD FINALIST… AGAIN
Well, I suppose I can toot my horn a bit, although the Motor Press Guild winners won’t be announced until next month. I was very fortunate to have a great project fall in my lap last year. Jeff Gamroth called and asked if I would like to document his Rothsport Racing Team effort at the 2017 Baja Mexican 1000 Rally. I said yes of course.
It was supposed to be just a printed piece, but after returning home we decided to move forward with a video. Fortunately, I had enough footage to make a 6-minute film.
Amazingly, both my feature article and feature film were selected by the Motor Press Guild as finalists for their annual awards. I won the feature article category last year, so we’ll see what happens this time!
