SAVE THE SALT IS WORKING As Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats celebrates its 68th anniversary, three organizations representing racers and industry are in discussions with a potash mine operator on ways to increase the amount of brine being pumped back into the salt flats.

BONNEVILLE SPEEDWAY IN 2016? Will Speed Week happen on August 13-19? How about the World Finals scheduled for September 27-30? Two months ago the Utah House Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Committee unanimously passed a resolution urging the federal government to take immediate action to restore the Bonneville Salt Flats.
WINTER APPROACHES December 22 is just a month a way. For those of you who live in environs that get roads salted, be sure and give your classic car(s) some exercise before they are put away for the season.
