A 1972 911S I photographed for auction just sold for $279,000. Granted, it’s one of the best in the world. It’s basically a brand new car restored to perfection with Apollo history. Congrats to Scott and his family. Continue reading “”
WHAT TO DO WHEN IT’S TOO HOT OUTSIDE
One of my specialties is automotive studio photography. When the sun’s blazing, the summer light can be too harsh to shoot in all day. That’s when I’ll pop into the studio, where I have complete control over the lighting. Continue reading “”
LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHY
Recently, I had the opportunity to shoot again for an auction company – in Spokane. The subject was a rare custom Datsun 240Z. As usual, my job was to find a great location on the spot within minutes. Continue reading “”

I LOVE SUMMER
Refelecting on all the amazing things I’ve seen over the past months, this photo probably says it best. Going to car shows and meeting new owners and their cars is a constant source of reveal for me and my work. Continue reading “”

Three-time Formula One world champion Niki Lauda of Austria has died at age 70.
He was the only driver in F1 history to have been champion for both Ferrari and McLaren. He survived a fiery crash in 1976 and went on to win two more world championships. The film “Rush” directed by Ron Howard depicted his racing life. Continue reading “”

GRAY MAY
May is one of my favorite times to be in California. It’s not for the weather. Grey skies and fog enter the L.A. area for that month and the next, while Seattle’s climate is just starting to get clearer with warmer days. Continue reading “”
