AS NICE AS PIE 356

Congrats to Michael Copperthite and his 1953 356 vintage race car just published in a feature I completed for the great guys at Road Scholars.

Michael found his Porsche pre-A 356 on eBay. It looked a mess, but something about the poorly painted coupe appealed to him. It was 95% complete, had seatbelts out of a P-51 Mustang fighter, and a rally clock out of a B-24 Liberator bomber. Continue reading “”

911 AND TOAD HALL

In the fall of 1971, 25 year-old Michael Keyser of Toad Hall Motor Racing ordered a 2.5-liter Light Yellow 911 “ST” sport purposes Porsche from the factory.
