I WANT TO DRIVE

When road trips roll around again, and they will with a vengeance I’m predicting, you will want go where the crowds are not. That means your vehicle will need to be ready to camp anywhere.

Here’s what I will be carrying with my wife in a Porsche SUV after this epidemic:

Water for 4 days
Food for 4 days
Raincoats, clothes, hats, boots, shoes
Bug out bags (2) – filled with everything small yet essential from REI
Sleeping Bags (2)
Electric 12V blankets (2)
Pillows (2)
Mattresses (2)
Chairs (2)
Cooler with ice for table
Electric 12V Cooler
Camp stove, plus extra fuel, lighter
Pots, pans, dishes, cups and utensils
Paper towels
Toilet paper
Flashlights and candles
Gas, wood, grill
Shovel
Binoculars
Camera gear
Emergency radio
Music
Spare batteries
