OK. It’s hot. It’s humid. The stock market looks like a roller coaster at a Disney theme park. You want to go someplace that’s relaxing. Somewhere that feels like paradise.

Paradise. Hmm… let me think about that.

Well, depending on your budget (and pretty much everyone has a budget these days), I have just the place for you.. Tahiti.

Don’t laugh. Yeah, it’s expensive. But there are ways to make it (somewhat) affordable. It’s winter in the southern hemisphere too. It also happens to be my favorite location in the world to photograph. Why? Because it hasn’t been ruined by “progress.” Long ago the Tahitian people decided to protect their piece of paradise by making it virtually impossible for an outsider to buy property there. Seems to have worked.
